DataSafe – D
The DataSafe DX/DXC range of flooded lead calcium flat plate batteries has been designed for use in UPS applications, specifically large data centers, which demand the highest levels of security and liability. The proven reliability of DataSafe DX battery is backed by 20+ years experience in the marketplace. The DataSafe DX/DXC battery is an economical multi-cell calcium flat plate battery. Multi-cell construction requires fewer units and reduces installation costs.
The DataSafe DX/DXC features the Slide-Lock post seal design, bolted tin plate connectors, optimal grid design, heavy duty plate lug and strap and dual lug design, which makes this the ideal battery for high rate applications.
The PowerSafe F range of batteries is specifically designed for the telecommunication industry including central office, cellular, and microwave applications. They range from 840Ah to 1810Ah and provide excellent long duration discharges. The PowerSaf e F battery range consists of two models: FTA-P and FTC-P.
PowerSafe FTA-P models utilize proven flooded flat plate antimony technology, while the PowerSafe FTC-P models use proven flooded flat plate calcium technology.
All PowerSafe F batteries feature a multi-directional design of the post, so the cells are easily configurable in any orientation, with cells either perpendicular to the rack support rails to optimize footprint or parallel to enable easy maintenance while the system is online.
PowerSafe F batteries also employ EnerSys’ exclusive Slide-Lock post seal that allows for natural plate growth over time without degrading the seal and an innovative tongue and groove jar-to-cover seal to prevent leaks.
PowerSafe – G
Engineered to meet the requirements of the power industry with its industry leading features, PowerSafe G batteries are one of the best out there. The PowerSafe G product family features calcium plates which demonstrate maximized performance in long discharge applications, allow the battery to tolerate high temperatures, and along with extra thick positive grids make the PowerSafe G family of batteries one of the most rugged on the market.
As industry requirements for less maintenance increase, the PowerSafe G family continues to be a proven solution. They’re designed with an electrolyte reserve for reduced watering requirements to allow for a longer water interval. Thick lead-calcium grids maximize performance and help to provide for 100% initial capacity out of the box.
The placement of copper inserts within the posts maintains excellent short duration high-current performance, while individual posts make monitoring individual cell performance possible.
PowerSafe – GN
PowerSafe GN batteries were initially released in 1978 to serve the nuclear industry. And today, it’s still the trusted battery for nuclear power plants due to our engineering and manufacturing expertise.
PowerSafe GN batteries are built in accordance to a Quality Management System that encompasses 10CFR50 Appendix B and NQA-1 requirements and has become the battery of choice for the resurgent US nuclear market.
Covering a full gamet of range from 1140AH to 3600AH the Powersafe GN battery is a robust calcium flat plate. PowerSafe GN batteries are qualified to IEEE535 as a battery that can be utilized in Class 1E nuclear applications.
PowerSafe – OPzS
Engineered with an optimized plate design, PowerSafe OPzS batteries feature an increased capacity exceeding the DIN standard. Additionally, the die cast tubular plate design with low antimony offers excellent cycling capabilities and a proven long life under float conditions. The pasted negative flat plate design provides the perfect balance for maximum performance.
The robust design of PowerSafe OPzS batteries makes them a perfect fit for your application. They have a wide range of capacity; feature die cast tubular positive plates, special micro porous separator materials and can be ordered with special vent caps which do not have to be removed for topping electrolyte levels or specific gravity measurements.
PowerSafe – OPzV
Engineered with an optimized plate design, PowerSafe OPzV valve regulated lead acid batteries have an increased capacity that exceeds the DIN standard. PowerSafe – SBS
PowerSafe SBS batteries are designed with EnerSys’ proprietary thin plate pure lead technology (TPPL). Batteries utilizing this advanced technology have better energy density, better resistance to heat and lower internal resistance to support higher rate charging and discharging. These batteries are designed to meet SR4228 and have passed the NEBS level 3 certification testing.

PowerSafe – V
PowerSafe V range of valve regulated lead acid batteries have been designed specifically for use in applications which demand the highest levels of security and reliability. They have a long service life and an excellent high rate of performance.
PowerSafe V batteries deliver superior performance while occupying less space than conventional standby power batteries. The use of V-0 rated, flame retardant, ABS plastic for the thick wall containers and covers offers high mechanical strength with excellent safety features. Oxygen evolved at the positive plates diffuses through microporous separators to the negative plates and, by a series of chemical reactions within the cell, recombines to form water. Each cell incorporates its own safety valve that allows the controlled release of gas when pressure builds up within the cell.
PowerSafe – E
Engineered to meet the requirements of the power industry, the industry leading features inherent to the PowerSafe E batteries make them one of the best in the market.
PowerSafe EA-M batteries feature antimony alloy plates which demonstrate maximized performance in cycling applications, allow the battery to tolerate high temperatures and along with extra thick positive grids make the EA-M series of batteries one of the most rugged in the market.
PowerSafe EC-M batteries feature calcium alloy plates which demonstrate maximized performance in long discharge applications and reduce watering requirements. The EC-M batteries are offered with 100% initial capacity.

PowerSafe – DDm
PowerSafe DDm batteries offer an ideal solution for large capacity Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) battery requirements. PowerSafe DDm battery’s steel can (module) design, with its integral racking system, provides a cost effective battery system. This creates a compact, quick and simple installation process.
The PowerSafe DDm battery system’s cutting-edge technology incorporates an enhanced cell design with a superior racking system. The enhanced cell incorporates thicker positive plates for longer life. The welded/epoxy, dual post seal design provides the highest integrity seal in the industry.
The large copper post design also enhances the high rate performance. Cells are encased in dedicated protective steel cans (modules) that maintain constant, uniform compression for the life of the cell. The easy to assemble racking system provides total flexibility for system configuration and allows fast, simple installation even in the most difficult locations.
DataSafe NPX valve regulated lead-acid batteries are designed for high rate discharge applications. These batteries are used primarily where high wattage is required for a short duration. With 50% more wattage available and a 30% reduction in size over conventional batteries.

Genesis – NP

DataSafe – CX
The DataSafe CX-M is an economical multi-cell flat plate battery. The CX-M is optimized for high performance and provides excellent short duration discharge rates. The DataSafe CX-M battery features the Slide-Lock post seal design.The DataSafe CX-M battery was designed for easier maintenance since all the posts and connectors reside above the cell cover; maintenance routines, including individual cell monitoring and intercell resistance measurements are simplified.
The economical design and footprint, combined with Slide-Lock post and excellent performance in short duration discharges makes this an ideal battery in both UPS and switchgear applications.
DataSafe – E
DataSafe ES batteries are economical lead-calcium, flat plate batteries. The ES unit is a medium power single-cell battery for high performance and short duration rates. Ideal applications are UPS and switchgear.
This battery has more than 20 years of field experience. The battery is optimized with respect to number of plates, plate thickness and available “free electrolyte” to ensure optimum performance during short duration discharges without sacrificing component integrity.
PowerSafe – C

PowerSafe – D
The PowerSafe D range of batteries, available in both DU and DSG models, are designed for telecommunications, utility and switchgear applications.
PowerSafe DU battery models are designed to handle the demanding float and deep discharges typical for telecommunication applications. They feature proven flat plate lead-calcium grid alloy and they’re the largest amp hour capacity four cell battery in the industry, ranging from 310 to 780Ah. The DU series multi-cell construction shortens installation time and reduces the battery string footprint. In addition, PowerSafe DU batteries are designed with the edge of the plates oriented perpendicular to the rack rails for full plate edge visibility. The dual hole (top/bottom) terminal design allows for easy maintenance.
PowerSafe DSG battery models feature a lead-calcium design that reduces the maintenance (watering intervals) associated with lead-antimony batteries. This makes the DSG battery ideal for challenging utility switchgear applications. Its 0.25 inch positive grids are one of the thickest in the industry, making it an excellent long discharge battery and ideally suited for the complex duty cycle requirements of the switchgear application. The multi-cell construction helps to minimize floor space. PowerSafe DSG batteries also have individual posts for each cell to help ease and simplify the integration of battery monitoring and test equipment used in routine maintenance inspections.
